About

From QA, through logistics, to SDET

I started my career in 2015 as a Senior Testing Executive at Infosys in Hyderabad. I tested a mainframe-to-web conversion for a leading US digital media client, maintained Selenium regression scripts and validated backend data with SQL for a US bank. That work earned the INSTA Award for the project launch, along with the IVS Best Team and Best Debutant awards.

From 2018 to 2022 I worked in Doha, Qatar, as an Operations Executive at Tokyo Freight Services, coordinating international freight forwarding, inventory, vendors and shipment schedules with global partners. That hands-on supply chain experience now shapes how I test inventory, procurement and logistics flows in ERP systems.

In 2023 I came back to QA as a Test Engineer at Eden Innovative Infotech, testing an e-commerce platform, and began an MCA in Artificial Intelligence at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, which I completed in 2025.

Since 2024 I've worked as an SDET at Lidex India. I designed both of the team's automation frameworks from scratch: first Selenium WebDriver with Java and TestNG, then a Playwright and TypeScript Page Object Model framework, and I led the migration between them.

Today I'm pursuing an M.Tech in Data Science & AI at IIIT Dharwad, focused on applying AI and machine learning to software quality engineering.

    • Designed and built the team's first test automation framework from scratch in Selenium WebDriver (Java) with TestNG, automating regression test cases for the manufacturing ERP.
    • Evaluated Selenium against Playwright on dynamic waits and locator stability for the ERP's dynamic screens, then led the migration to Playwright (TypeScript).
    • Designed and built a Page Object Model framework from scratch with reusable page and component classes, TypeScript fixtures for authentication and test data setup, environment-based configuration and centralized test data generation.
    • Automated end-to-end UI tests across multiple ERP modules, including Sales, Purchase and Production Planning.
    • Integrated the suite into Bitbucket Pipelines, publishing HTML reports, traces and screenshots so failures are triaged to root cause without local reruns.
    • Validated cross-module business rules and data integrity (sales order to production to inventory to invoice), catching defects where data passes between modules.
    • Improved suite stability by replacing brittle XPath with role, label and test-id locators and removing hard-coded waits, reducing flaky test failures.
    • Owned regression sign-off for releases, reviewed team test code, and wrote knowledge-transfer documentation for developers and business analysts.
